All of biological life, from the oceans to the fields and the animals that inhabit the earth, would not exist if not for rain.  So often, words like “gloomy” or “dreary” are applied to rainy days, and yet so much of our life depends on it to exist, to survive, to flourish.

Made of Rain is a musical project deeply inspired by the patterns of nature, wishing to honor it through music. With a combination of electronic, ambient, cinematic and orchestral sound palettes, Made of Rain is an impressionistic view on the movements of life on this planet.

The debut album, “Passages” was made in the Summer of 2021, a particularly rainy summer.  Whenever I was working on these songs, it happened to be raining.  When it rained, I turned to these works, hoping to capture its spirit.
